Word Empowerment featuring Bishop Neil Ellis
Bishop Ellis organized Mount Tabor Union Baptist Church in February of 1987 with thirteen members. Mount Tabor (now Full Gospel Baptist Church), is one of the fastest growing churches in The Bahamas; and over the years the Ministry has emerged as the largest body of believers in the country. With a membership of more than 7,000; the life-changing messages delivered by Bishop Ellis are regularly quoted throughout the country and in the country's House of Parliament.
Bishop Ellis is passionate about the Word of God and its ability to transform lives. This is clearly demonstrated both in his fresh style of ministry and in the profound yet practical books that he has authored. Along with the obvious anointing of the Holy Spirit upon his life, Bishop Ellis is a well prepared Pastor / Preacher. A noted author, Bishop Ellis has written twelve (12) books including "THE POWER OF THE BLOOD", "UNDERSTANDING DEMONS", "A CHECK UP FROM THE NECK UP", "A LOOK AROUND FROM THE SHOULDER DOWN", "APPRECIATING YOUR PERSONAL VALUE", "GAINING ENTRANCE INTO YOUR PROMISED LAND", "LIVING IN YOUR PROMISED LAND", "BETWEEN HEAVEN AND EARTH", "SURVIVING THE CRISIS", "FASTING FOR RESULTS", "THE POWER OF PAIN", and his latest work, "PURSUING THE GLORY". He is a much sought after preacher and to date has preached throughout the Bahamas, in various Caribbean countries, in North America, Germany, Africa and Israel.
Bishop Ellis is married to the former Patrice Michelle Johnson and they along with their children reside in West New Providence on the beautiful island of Nassau in The Bahamas.
